Bylaws and Rules

The American Wagyu Association, Inc is designated as nonprofit, 501(c)(5) member-based organization. The Association is governed by a legally binding Constitution and a set of Regulations (Bylaws) to which it enacts such.

The Bylaws underpin the organizational guidelines of the American Wagyu Association and is observed by the membership. The purpose of the Bylaws is to establish a “standard” that protects the Association, the integrity of the Breed and its Membership.

Under its obligation as a Not-For-Profit, the American Wagyu Association is compelled to conduct an annual general meeting each and every year whereby operational and financial statements are reported to the membership. Such information is made public through the Association information portals.
